ITS Computer Lab Support

 

Issues or problems in the computer lab can be reported to the student advisors.  They will escalate the report to the lab administrators if they are unable to resolve it.

Please note that the student advisors are not responsible for assisting with class work and assignments.  Instructors and/or teaching assistants should be contacted with regards to this.

 

Contacting Advisors

Student advisors are on duty in the Computer Commons to assist with, or answer questions about how to log on to the computers, using the resources in the labs and general software support.

Requesting Software

Instructors may request software to be installed on the computers in the ITS computer labs.  Proper licenses are required for all software installed at Brock University and license documentation must be provided with the request. Shareware or trial software will not be installed in the ITS Computer Labs.  Please note that the instructor (or instuctor's department) is responsible for the purchase and maintenance of software licenses.
