Portal

The Portal (my.brocku.ca) is used to manage a wide array of systems at Brock.

Portal Activation Instructions (Faculty/Staff)

If you were given a Logon ID (CAMPUS ID) and password by Human Resources or the HelpDesk, return to Home and input your assigned Logon ID (CAMPUS ID) and password.

If you experience difficulty with this process, go to the ITS HelpDesk (Plaza Building, Inside the Campus Store - Phone: 905-688-5550 x4357) with appropriate identification and ask for a password reset.

Login Problems (Student/Alumni)

If you cannot login to the Portal (my.brocku.ca), there are a few things you can try.

  • If you have not logged into the Portal for an extended period of time (90 days or more) your login password has expired. When you attempt to login, you will be taken to a screen prompting you to renew your password. The new password must contain at least 3 different types of characters (upper case, lower case and a number for example) and must be at least 8 characters in length. If this does not work, try the next suggestion

  • From the Portal login page, click on the Forgot your student password? link located under the username and password fields. You will be asked a series of questions and if answered correctly, you will be able to reset your password

  • If you cannot reset your password through the methods listed above, contact the Office of the Registrar at 905-688-5550 x3099 and they will be able to reset your password.

Login Problems (Faculty/Staff)

If you experience difficulty with this process, go to the ITS HelpDesk (Plaza Building, Inside the Campus Store - Phone: 905-688-5550 x4357) with appropriate identification and ask for a password reset.

Password Reset

If this method does not work, you will be required to bring a valid piece of ID to the HelpDesk to get your password reset.

Password Reset Protocol

In order for ITS to securely reset a password for faculty/staff, the following conditions must be enforced:

  • The user must come to the HelpDesk to get a password reset. Password reset requests through any other means (telephone, e-mail, etc.) will not be allowed.

    If the user cannot come to the HelpDesk (ie. The user is out of the country), please contact the HelpDesk via telephone at 905-688-5550 extension 4357 or inform your Administrative Assistant to contact the HelpDesk and the issue will be dealt with accordingly.

  • The user must bring a valid piece of identification (preferably their Brock ID card).
