Interactive Arts & Science

Admissions

All students with an interest in interactive new media and games are encouraged to apply to the Interactive Arts and Science program.  Their applications will be considered on the basis of evidence of probable success in this dynamic program area. Enrolment has been limited in order that our students may benefit from personal contact, individual attention and the program's commitment to inquiry-based and project-based learning. Applicants must be formally admitted to the University before they can register in degree credit courses.

The admissions requirements for the IASC program are the same as those for the Faculty of Humanities, refer to http://www.brocku.ca/webcal/2006/undergrad/crit.html.  Ontario Secondary School students must have a minimum of six Grade 12U or 12M courses and have completed the Ontario (OSSD), or equivalent, to be considered for admission.  Grade 12U Subject: English (ENG4U) is required.

Application for admission should be made as early as possible and are completed online through the Ontario Universities Application Centre (OUAC) at http://www.ouac.on.ca. or at secondary school guidance offices. The completed form and interim grades are to be sent to the Ontario Universities' Application Centre. Applicants who wish to be considered on final marks should forward a copy of their final grades directly to Brock University.
