Brent Adams - Tuba
Mr. Adams is a founding member of the Niagara Brass Ensemble, principal tubist of the Niagara Symphony Orchestra and has played with the Hamilton Philharmonic and Ontario Place Pops Orchestras. He is also on the teaching staff of the Niagara Youth Orchestra.
Janice Fralick - French Horn
(MusBac, BEd: Toronto)
Mrs. Fralick graduated with a Mus. Bac. and a B. Ed. from the University of Toronto in 1981. She has played second horn in the Niagara Symphony since 1981, and is also active as a performer in the Niagara-on-the-Lake Sinfonia. Mrs. Fralick is the leader of a brass quintet which plays ceremonies such as weddings, special church services and graduations here in the Niagara Region. She has been the French Horn instructor at Brock since 1986, and also has a private studio where she teaches french horn and piano.
Steve Fralick - Trombone
(MusBac, BEd: Toronto)
Mr. Fralick is Principal Trombone for the Niagara Symphony and the Niagara-on-the-Lake Sinfonia, and performs chamber music as part of a brass quintet. He is also very active as a trombone instructor in the Niagara Region.
Timothy White - Trumpet, Brass Techniques
(BMus, MMus: Michigan; BEd: Toronto)
A native of Hamilton, Ontario, Timothy White played in the Hamilton Philharmonic Youth Orchestra and the McMaster Symphony before beginning his studies at the University of Michigan. There he studied trumpet with Ramon Parcells (Detroit Symphony) and Armando Ghitalla (Boston Symphony). His conducting teachers included Donald Shlieker and Gustav Meier. He has played in the Hamilton Philharmonic, Symphony Nova Scotia, and the Niagara Symphony. Mr. White performs throughout southern Ontario as a soloist, freelance trumpeter, and clinician, and with his quintet, the Rondeau Brass. He is the trumpet instructor at Brock University and McMaster University and lives in Hamilton with his wife Lauren, and their three children, Ian, Alex and Evan.
