Studies in Comparative Literatures and Cultures
This *new* interdisciplinary degree program is offered as a Combined Major by the Department of Modern Languages, Literatures and Cultures. The rich literatures and cultures of Western Europe and Latin America are the main area of study.
French, German, Italian, Portuguese and Spanish texts are read in translation and assignments are completed in English. This degree fits into the tradition of Comparative Literature programs and would form an excellent preparation for Brock’s MA in Studies in Comparative Literatures and Arts.
