TO STUDENTS ENTERING THE LIBERAL ARTS PROGRAM IN SEPTEMBER 2010:
We are glad to welcome you to the LART Program, and we are looking forward to meeting you in the coming weeks and months. If you are starting your studies in Liberal Arts in Sept. 2010, you should register for the following 2 LART courses:
- LART 1F91 - Poets, Painters and Philosophers (NB: non-LART majors take LART 1F90);
- LART 1F93 - Order and Chaos in the Cosmos.
These are limited enrollment courses that are special to LART majors. If you encounters problems registering, don't panic! Please write to Prof. Michael Driedger (mdriedger@brocku.ca), the LART Program Director, and copy the message to liberalarts@brocku.ca. In the email, list your name and Brock student ID number, and indicate that you are an incoming LART major. We will arrange a registration override for you, if it is needed.
If you are on campus in late July or anytime in August, please feel free to arrange a meeting with Prof. Driedger (appointments are by arrangement; please send an email). Prof. Driedger might also be able to arrange meetings with current LART students, if you wish.
