Leah Knight teaches and researches in the areas of early modern poetry and prose, with special interests in the cultural history of books, writing, and reading in early modern England. Of Books and Botany in Early Modern England: Sixteenth-Century Plants and Print Culture (2009) was awarded the British Society for Literature and Science annual prize for the best book in the field. A current SSHRC-funded research project investigates the reading experience of Anne Clifford (1590-1676).
