What is the ESA?
Faculty of Humanities
What is the ESA?
The ESA is an association run by and for the students of the English Department at Brock University. As a student organization rather than a "club", it is not ratified by BUSU and all that means is that every student of the department is an ESA member, automatically and free of charge.
OUR GOALS:
A) To connect the Brock English Community - student to student, student to department and department to the rest of the school.
B) To help student academic and social success.
C) To help out in various communities in need through fundraising and other initiatives.
The ESA's goal is to make English students' academic AND social lives the best they can be. To that end, we host events of all sorts in order to bridge the gap between the two worlds which can often be difficult to do when five classes are being juggled. We're also committed to creating a valuable experience for English students that will help them in their future career and academic endeavours, just by being involved! We do this through our events, our services and our fundraising initiatives.
