Student Awards and Achievements

Congratulations to Classics major Emily Schaljo for winning the Harry C. Maynard Scholarship to support her participation in the Burgaz Harbors Project with Dr. Elizabeth S. Greene this summer!


The following students were winners of the "Inspiring Images: Landscapes, Objects, People" Photography Competition which was held during Congress in May:
1st Prize ($100) - Colin Pipher for his submission of "Teutoburg Jack"
2nd Prize ($50) - Lindsay Earle for her submission of "Gymnasium at Aphrodisias"
3rd Prize ($50; sponsored by the Archaeological Institute of America, Niagara Peninsula Society) - Brianna Bosgraaf for her submission of "Temple of Apollo: Ways to Dwarf a 6ft Tall Girl"
Honourary Mention to Emma Fotino for her submission of "Ancient Empty Streets"
