Amilcare Ramella Graduate Scholarship in Canadian-American Studies

This award will be made to a full-time Brock graduate student enrolled in the Joint MA in Canadian-American Studies Program on the basis of outstanding academic merit. Preference will be given to citizens of the United States of America.

Statement from the award recipient:  "I am honoured to be the 2013-14 recipient of the Amilcare Ramella Graduate Scholarship in Canada-US Relations.  As a student in the joint M.A. in Canadian American Studies between Brock University and SUNY University at Buffalo, I have been able to take advantage of courses, resources and faculties at both universities in the pursuit of my academic interests.  It means a lot to have been awarded a scholarhip named in remembrance of a man who not only valued education and the process of continuous learning, but also truly lived the Canadian-American experience."Dawn Westwater. current MA student in Canadian-American Studies.
