Why Choose the Department of Applied Linguistics (DALS) at Brock University?
Faculty of Humanities
Why Choose the Department of Applied Linguistics (DALS) at Brock University?
DALS offers a vibrant academic and research environment. Among other valuable skills, students will be challenged to develop their critical thinking, academic writing, and oral presentation capacities.
The department comprises interdisciplinary faculty members with diverse scholarly and research interests. Our members include linguists, applied linguists, psycholinguists/neurolinguists, teachers of English as a subsequent language, and speech-language pathologists.
We offer a variety of undergraduate and post-baccalaureate academic programs and courses, including courses in American Sign Language and AESL.
Use the drop down menu at the left, or click here to go directly to some of our most popular offerings: Hearing Sciences, Speech and Language Sciences, BA in TESL, MA in TESL, or Certificate programs.
