Brock University is seeking dynamic advancement professionals to compliment the Campaign for a Bold New Brock’s campaign team. We are looking for successful and confident professionals to participate in all major gift fundraising activities and donor stewardship for the University, including cultivating relationships with donors, alumni, and community stakeholders.

The Campaign for a Bold New Brock was launched in the spring of 2008 with an ambitious goal of $75M. Having surpassed that milestone, the goal has been increased to $110M. To meet the increasing demand for a Brock education, more than $266 million in construction has been committed or commissioned to expand the campus, including The Marilyn I. Walker School of Fine and Performing Arts and the Cairns Family Health and Bioscience Research Complex – sophisticated facilities representing major advancements for arts for scientific capabilities in Canada. The Senior Major Gifts Officers will be responsible for the planning and implementation of a major gifts solicitation program to achieve the goals and objectives of The Campaign for a Bold New Brock in support of campus priorities including the Marilyn I. Walker School of Fine and Performing Arts and the Cairns Family Health and Bioscience Research Complex.

Walker School of Fine and Performing Arts and the Cairns Family Health and Bioscience Research Complex.

Qualifications

Successful candidates for Senior Major Gifts Officer will possess a university degree combined with five to ten years of increasing responsibility in the advancement field, including major gifts and capital campaigns and successful gift solicitations at the major and principal gift level, preferably within a post secondary education setting or other complex organization. Practicing ethical and donor-centered fund raising, you are well-versed in the current trends of fund development and have demonstrated success coaching and training people in the area of fundraising.

Successful candidates for Major Gifts Officer will possess a university degree combined with a minimum of five years experience the advancement field, including major gifts and capital campaigns, preferably within a post secondary education setting or other complex organization. Practicing ethical and donor-centered fund raising, you are well-versed in the current trends of fund development and have demonstrated success coaching and training people in the area of fundraising.
