Job Summary

Brock University is looking for enthusiastic, reliable, creative, bilingual (preferred) individuals to work as part of a team and as leaders, that will deliver in-class workshops twice a week, lead and supervise students on afternoon outings, plan and facilitate evening and weekend activities focused on improving English language skills and experiential participation in cultural activities.
The goal is to provide support to participants by encouraging an English only language environment, during their time of study at the university. Experience working with young adults, prior leadership/teaching experience and event/activity planning is beneficial.


Successful applicants should have completed at least Year 2 of a relevant undergraduate program. Current and valid First Aid certification is required. Other certifications/training, such as Mental Health, QPR and Safe Talk would be considered an asset. Previous experience in a supervisory role, with coaching, recreation activities, and working with second language speakers is advantageous.
