Students, returning to University in the fall to assist with the University’s Grounds maintenance.
Summer Students are full-time returning Brock University students responsible for assisting the full time staff to ensure the appearance of the campus landscape is well maintained.
This position is rewarding but it is hard physical work. Tasks will include but are not limited to: grass cutting, trimming, weeding, picking up litter and garbage removal.
The ideal candidate will have:
• Ability to work in a variety of weather conditions, including adverse conditions
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Experience with landscaping and landscape maintenance tools and equipment (an asset)
• Valid Driver’s License (preferred)
