The Department of Biological Sciences at Brock University invites applications for a 12-month Instructional Limited Term Appointment at the rank of Lecturer or Assistant Professor (with the possibility of renewal) to begin August 1, 2013, subject to final budgetary approval.
The candidate must have a PhD in Biology or a closely related discipline in hand or near completion. This is a teaching position which includes teaching up to eight half-credit courses in Biological Sciences during the 12 month appointment. Courses may include Biology, a human perspective, BIOL1F25; Molecular Biology, BIOL 2P02; Introduction to Biotechnology, BTEC 2P09; Metabolic Biochemistry, BCHM 3P01; Protein Structure and Function, BCHM 3P02; Investigative Neurobiology, BIOL 3P90; Neural networks and behavior, BIOL 4P34;
The deadline for completed applications is May 15, 2013. Applicants should submit a letter of application accompanied by a curriculum vitae and evidence of teaching competence, and should arrange for three letters of reference to be sent directly by the referee.
