Qualifications

Applicants must have a PhD in Political Science at the time of appointment. While the area of research specialization is open, the successful candidate will be expected to teach courses in the areas of multi-level governance or provincial politics, amongst others.

The candidate will contribute to undergraduate and graduate teaching, and to graduate supervision in the department's vibrant MA program. The position is subject to final budgetary approval. The deadline for completed applications is October 26, 2012. Applicants should submit hard copies only of the following application materials: a cover letter, curriculum vitae, a sample of academic writing, a teaching dossier (including a statement of teaching philosophy), concise descriptions of current research activity and future research plans, and three letters of reference.
