Ontario Legislature Internship Programme/2010-11Interested in politics, but don't know where to start? How about working at Queen's Park for a year and getting paid for it? The Ontario Legislature Internship Programme (OLIP) offers 10-month internships to recent grads from all Canadian universities. Each intern experiences 4 months in a government MPP office, and 4 months in an opposition MPP office. OLIP provides a stipend of $20,000 for the programme, plus $1,000 upon completion of an essay and a free monthly subway pass (a $1,090 value).
