Eighth Annual Mapping the New Knowledges Graduate Student Research Conference
A record number of graduate students participated in this year's conference held on April 10.
The annual showcase of graduate student research and scholarship featured oral and poster presentations, the 3MT (Three Minute Thesis) Contest, and the presentation of the Graduate Mentorship Awards.
“Mapping the New Knowledges is a central component to the University’s declared vision and contributes to the crossing of disciplinary boundaries for faculty and students on many levels each year,” says Mike Plyley, Dean, Faculty of Graduate Studies.
Planning is under way for the conference in April 2014 — check back in September for more details about the lineup of Mapping events in 2013-14.
