The GSA Chief Electoral Officer, Chrystal Colquhoun, has declared the following results of the GSA Election and Referendum,  which closed March 24, 2015 at 4pm:

VP EQUITY & EXTERNAL AFFAIRS POSITION:

Jacqueline Beres - 234
Carissa Taylor -   104

Number of voters: 338    Percentage voted: 19.66%

The new GSA VP Equity & External Affairs for the 2015-2016 year will be Jacqueline Beres.  She will begin her official duties on May 1, 2015.

REFERENDUM for new proposed $20 Graduate Student Mental Health & Wellness Fee:

Yes - 189
No -  113
Abstain - 30

Number of voters: 332    Percentage Voted: 19.31%

The new Mental Health & Wellness fee will be assessed to all registered Graduate students, once per year, beginning in the Fall 2015 term.  For details see Memorandum of Understanding for this fee.
