Earth Sciences students are in a unique position at Brock. Their campus has the distinction of being situated on one of the world’s most impressive natural, geologic formations – the Niagara Escarpment.
The environment is an inspiring location for a program committed to scholarly and research excellence. Graduate students are part of an intense research culture and work alongside internationally recognized faculty who specialize in glacial geology and geomorphology, watershed geochemistry, lichen bio-monitoring, marine and terrestrial palynology, stream-flow dynamics, isotope carbonate geochemistry, planetary structural geology, climatology and Quaternary geology. An emphasis is placed on the individualization of programs and supervision.
The program prepares students for doctoral studies or careers responding to the needs of world governments, industries and social structures facing global change.
