GHLA and Teasdale-Corti project organized the Second Honduran Meeting of Research Ethics Board. Dr. Michelle McGinn, Professor, Department of Graduate and Undergraduate Studies in Education, Brock University, was invited as international speaker and facilitator.
Dr. Vilma Espinoza successfully defended her thesis "Situation Analysis of Research Ethics Boards for Health Research in Honduras" and earned the degree of master in Public Health, awarded by the Faculty of Health Sciences of the National Autonomous University of Honduras.
GHLA and Teasdale-Corti projects organized the First Honduran Meeting of Research Ethics Boards. 30 REB members from Tegucigalpa, San Pedro Sula and Santa Rosa de Copan representing 70% of Honduran REBs membership participated in the meeting. Dr. Sergio Litewka, Research Assistant Professor at the University of Miami Ethics Programs, was invited as an international speaker and facilitator.
