A masquerade dance for the Children of Syria.
Do you want to party for a fantastic cause? Well, join us (UNICEF Brock) on Friday, November 8th, at Isaac’s Bar and Grill for a night of fun, endless dancing, and raffles! All funds collected go towards assisting the lives of the vulnerable children in Syria.
Ever since the conflict started in Syria, 500,000 children have not been vaccinated against polio. The conflict in Syria has caused immense displacement, with millions of children on the move, either inside the country or across the borders into neighbouring countries and beyond. As a result, routine immunization systems (which are critical to preventing childhood diseases) have been disrupted or broken down, and the children are now at a higher risk for developing diseases such as polio and measles.
With this being said, UNICEF Brock is hosting a masquerade dance that will help support UNICEF Canada and their means to help the #ChildrenofSyria. Not only are we hoping to raise funds, but we also hope to spread awareness within the Brock community about the various issues affecting poverty-stricken children around the world. After all, each and every child has the right to receive every opportunity regardless of his/her circumstances.
So bring your friends, colleagues, classmates, and neighbours to a night where not only will you have fun, but also have the chance to make a difference in the lives of children in need. For more information, please email at firstname.lastname@example.org
