What if I withdraw or reduce my course load?

Most awards require that you return for full-time (min. 3.0 credits in the Fall and Winter) study in the Fall after your are notified of your scholarship. If you drop your course load below full-time status, your scholarship will be prorated using the following formula:

Prorated Amount = Original Award Amount X (Number of Credits / 5)
*to calculate your prorated amount, divide the number of credits you are registered in by five and multiply this number by the original award amount you were offered.

Additional adjustments are made, if the student withdraws, which allows the student to keep more of the award based on the amount the student has paid for his/her courses.
