Can I have a single room?
You may indicate on your application that you would prefer a single room and, if you are assigned to a double, that you would prefer to share with a friend whom you may identify (that person also has to ask to share with you and be assigned to the same residence for the partnership to happen). We have accommodation for approximately 2,400 students and over one third of these beds are in double rooms. Regardless of which residence you live in, residence life is "high density living". We hope you will embrace the experience of living with a lively group of students and enjoy the eight months you spend in residence. Having a roommate can be an integral part of that whole experience. Because room assigning is largely marks driven, the higher your admission average the better chance you have of getting a single room.
