Why is there a charge to park a vehicle at Brock University?

Parking Services is a self-supporting (auxiliary) department. As such, it receives no tax dollars or student course fees to fund its operations. Revenues derived from parking fees are pledged to offset costs associated with the construction, maintenance, and administration of campus parking facilities and operations.
