Notification of Required Payment
THE UNIVERSITY DOES NOT MAIL STATEMENTS TO PROMPT PAYMENT. To determine your account balance you must access your Financial Account Information on-line through the portal.
To avoid interest, service charges, and other consequences, be sure that you allow sufficient time for your payment to reach us. Interest and service charges will not be waived for late payment.
Deferral Fee
The balance outstanding as posted on the Fee Calculator or Student Financial History is due as of the posted due date. For the Fall/Winter session, this includes the charges for both the Fall and Winter term tuition, in addition to all ancillary and residence fees as applicable.
For the fall/winter session only, full time students may elect to defer a portion of the balance, and pay a minimum first instalment equal to approximately 70% of the total owing on account. The minimum first installment is automatically calculated on the Fee Calculator. Students who elect to pay by installment, including OSAP students, will be assessed a deferral fee of $75.00. The remaining balance owing is due to be received by November 15th, 2012. After this date, interest will accrue on the remaining balance, and student account access may be restricted.
OSAP Students
Students with a confirmed OSAP assessment may pay a reduced deposit for the fall/winter Term. For students not living in residence, the minimum deposit is $500.00. Funds from Brock University Scholarships and Bursaries may not be used to make this deposit. OSAP students living in residence should check the fee calculator online, to determine the minimum first instalment based on the OSAP and residence fees assessed.
OSAP students who do not pay the full balance outstanding by the due date are subject to the $75 deferral fee.
No interest will accumulate on an OSAP student's outstanding fall/winter balance unless it remains unpaid through February 2013.
