Change of Major:

New applications to the BSM program are accepted from Brock students after year one.

The application form (Request to Declare or Change Majors) for transfer into the BSM program is available on the web or in paper form at the Registrar's Office (3rd floor, Schmon Tower). This form must be completed and submitted to the Office of the Registrar by May 1 for consideration for admission for the next academic year. Change of major applications are reviewed once a year in May when all final grades for the most recent academic year have been recorded.

To be eligible for consideration for admission to the BSM on a Change/Declare major, a student must meet all of the following requirements:

  • Completion of SPMA 1P91, 1P92, MGMT 1P51, 1P52 and WRIT 1P94 with a minimum 60 percent in each
  • A minimum 65 percent average overall in all SPMA major courses taken to date, (including the above courses and any upper year SPMA courses) which would be included in the calculation of the BSM major average.
  • A minimum 60 percent overall average

The BSM is a limited enrolment program. Admission is not guaranteed by attainment of the minimum requirements outlined above.
