Dr. Terry Boak is currently a faculty member in the Department of Graduate and Undergraduate Studies. He received his BSc, BEd, and MEd from the University of Manitoba and his PhD from the University of Calgary in 1973. Prior to teaching at a university, he taught mathematics, science, and was a guidance counselor at a high school in Winnipeg for four years. In 1973 Dr. Boak taught at the Memorial University of Newfoundland. While working for Brock, Dr. Boak was Vice President of Academics in 1998, Acting President in 2005-2006, and then Provost and Vice President of Academics until 2008.

Instructional technology within a university/college environment; Professional knowledge of teachers; Transition from school to work or unemployment; Teacher education; Quality of student life in higher education
