Mission

Brock University’s Centre for Continuing Teacher Education serves and honours the needs of Ontario certified teachers. We are committed to the pursuit of academic excellence on a global level. The professional and research based University Credit courses we provide are OCT accredited, approved by Brock University’s Senate and available on Brock University transcripts.

The Brock University Centre for Continuing Teacher Education welcomes you to its Additional Qualification course website. This site provides the latest information regarding the courses we offer, when and where they will be offered, and how to register.

The Centre for Continuing Teacher Education in the Faculty of Education at Brock University has been providing Additional Qualification courses for K-12 teachers for over 25 years. The Centre’s AQ courses have been accredited by the Ontario College of Teachers and recognized by participants and school boards as excellent components of teacher professional development. More than forty AQ courses are now available in an online format with more online course offerings in the planning and development stage.

In January 2012, ancillary fees were dropped for the Centre for Continuing Teacher Education University credit AQ courses.
