Professional Masters Preparation Certificate Program (PMPCP/Ed)

The Professional Masters Preparation Certificate Program in Education (PMPCP/Ed) is designed for international students who have completed undergraduate degrees and who wish to pursue graduate studies in North America. The PMPCP/Ed is dedicated to assisting these students to overcome foreseeable academic and cultural difficulties and to acquire the necessary understandings and skills to make the transition to graduate work smoother and ultimately more successful.

  • Full-time academic program that prepares you for master’s study in Canada and the U.S.
  • Instruction in Education theory, research methods, Canadian cultural practices, and English language proficiency skills development (reading, writing, speaking, and listening) toward preparation for study in a master's degree program
  • The PMPCP/Ed is completed during the September-April terms and consists of 10 equivalent credits
