Master Preparation Certificate in Education (MPCE)

The Master Preparation Certificate in Education (MPCE) is designed for international students who have completed undergraduate degrees and who wish to pursue graduate studies in North America. The MPCE is dedicated to assisting these students to overcome foreseeable academic and cultural difficulties and to acquire the necessary understandings and skills to make the transition to graduate work smoother and ultimately more successful.

  • Full-time academic program that prepares you for master’s study in Canada and the U.S.
  • Instruction in Education theory, research methods, Canadian cultural practices
  • Class dedicated to assisting students in applying to graduate schools
  • The MPCE runs either September-April or May-December, with optional field placements.
