Tutoring

To improve their reading and writing skills, children may attend the Reading Clinic’s Reading Support Program for one-on-one tutoring.

Each client works with a literacy tutor, who is a senior undergraduate or graduate student specializing in education and supervised by the Clinic Director. Tutors use a variety of research-based teaching procedures to help their clients improve their reading and writing skills.

Reading support programs are offered throughout the school year. Each program is typically 9 weeks in length.

Winter 2013
Monday, Wednesday and Friday: 4:30 p.m. - 5:30 p.m. or 5:30 p.m. - 6:30 p.m. or 6:30 p.m. - 7:30 p.m.
Saturday: 10am or 11am

Clients will attend two one hour sessions each week. Clients can attend on Mondays, Tuesday, Wednesdays or Thursdays at 4:30 or 5:30 p.m. or Saturday mornings at 10 a.m.or 11 a.m.

Client Fees
One session per week for the term:        $150
Two sessions per week for the term:      $300
