To improve their reading and writing skills, children may attend the Reading Clinic’s Reading Support Program for one-on-one tutoring.
Each client works with a literacy tutor, who is a senior undergraduate or graduate student specializing in education and supervised by the Clinic Director. Tutors use a variety of research-based teaching procedures to help their clients improve their reading and writing skills.
Reading support programs are offered throughout the school year. Each program is typically 9 weeks in length.
Tutoring begins the week of September 23rd.
Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday: 4:30 p.m.to 5:30 p.m., 5:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m., 6:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m.
Registration will be open until September 20th or until all spaces fill up. After that, clients will be placed on a waiting list.
One session per week for the term: $180
Two sessions per week for the term: $360
