Museums & Interpretive Centres
Just a 10-minute drive south of Brock is the Morningstar Mill Park and Interpretive Centre. The museum site is made up of a number of buildings: the gristmill, (more familiarly known as Morningstar Mill) turbine shed, miller’s house, icehouse, sawmill and the barn which houses the blacksmith shop and carpentry shop.
A little further afield is the St. Catharines Museum at Lock 3 on the Welland Canal. It chronicles the history of the city and the Welland Canal, a major link in the St. Lawrence Seaway System.
Also local museums and conservation areas are located in Jordan, Vineland, Grimsby, Niagara-on-the-Lake, Niagara Falls, Welland and Fort Erie.
