As a Research Assistant at Queen’s University, I was able to develop knowledge and technical experience as well as build upon the knowledge of statistics and experimental design provided by my academic program. “As an accounting student at Durward Jones Barkwell & Company, I have gained hands-on experience in audit, review and compilation engagements, as well as taxation.  Working for a firm with an established history has provided the opportunity to work with a variety of clients, from new and developing proprietorships to large corporations.  Not only have I been able to apply the knowledge I obtained in the classroom, but the guidance and mentorship of senior staff members has enabled me to grow in professionalism, technical expertise, and commitment to excellence.
