CAFCE’s National Co-op Education Week (#coopweek #Brockcoop): March 16 to 20, 2015

The Canadian Association for Co-operative Education (CAFCE) celebrates National Co-op Week (#coopweek) with a goal of encouraging the celebration of Co-operative Education among student, employer and faculty fans and fostering awareness of Co-op and CAFCE among new audiences.


Brock’s Co-op Education Week will target students, alumni, employer, community and on campus stakeholders with the objective to raise awareness of co-op.  If you are on campus, please stop by our office (MC A336) for a treat!


·        Community Connect - Co-op Celebration Kick-off Event, March 12th, 4:30 ~ 6:00, St. Catharines


At the kick–off event, Dean Cyr, Goodman School of Business announced the recipient of Brock’s “Co-op Student of the Year” award 2014 - Regan Fitzgerald, MBA Co-op. To be selected as Brock’s co-op student of the year, you must be an outstanding co-op employee, willing to go above and beyond at every opportunity. Additionally, you must excel in your academics and coursework. And finally, you must be a dedicated supporter and promoter of Brock’s Co-op programs.


During the CAFCE’s National Co-op Education Week, we are organizing the following activities: 


  • CAFCE Co-op Week Twitter Contest 2015 (#Coopweek #Brockcoop)

CAFCE’s National Co-op Week Twitter Contest is a way of uniting member institutions across the country in a celebration of our students, our employers and us! Co-op students from across the country are encouraged to participate in this challenge-a-day contest on Twitter.


To encourage Brock co-op students’ participation, the Co-op Programs Office will offer our winning student an additional prize of a 30-minute informational interview with one of our top employers.


·        Co-op Connect – GTA Co-op Celebration Event, March 19th, 5:00 ~ 7:00, 40 King St., Toronto

We will be celebrating our co-op success with our students, alumni and employer partners in the GTA area. Please join us!
