My other interests include the reception of the classical villa garden in late 19th and early 20th centuries, food in the ancient world, and letter-writing. I am one of the organisers of Greenscapes, a biannual event that explores connective aspects of environmental culture through landscape architecture, literature, art, history and urban design.
