The Department of
Chemistry at Brock University is
delighted to host the 41th annual Inorganic Discussion Weekend from
Nov. 28nd to Nov. 30th, 2008. The Chemistry Department is located in
the city St. Catharines at 500 Glenridge Avenue.

About
IDW
The
Inorganic Discussion Weekend (IDW) has been a tradition among
inorganic chemists in Ontario and Quebec since its inception in 1968.
IDW 2008 invites submissions of poster and oral presentations from
undergraduate and graduate students, as well as postdoctoral fellows in
any area of inorganic chemistry.
Important
Dates
Deadline for registration is November 7st, 2008. After this time a late
fee of $20 will apply.
Deadline for abstract submission is November 7st, 2008.

Information

be held at 7-10:30 pm on
the Brock Campus in Pond

- Oral presentations including the Varian Plenary
Lecture and the Bruker
Invited Speaker will be held in the Academic

- Desican sponsored coffebreak will be served in the
hallway of Academic
South on Saturday.
- The Xerox Poster session will be held
in the
hallway of Academic
South and Sodexho Mezzanine.
- The IDW banquet on Saturday night will be
held at the Pond

- If you stay at 4
Points Sheraton hotel, we suggest
that you leave vehicles at
the hotel during the conference as the conference venue can be easily
reached by
foot (15-20
min). However, there is ample parking space available on Brock campus
in lot A
and also minimal number of paid parking spots
near the Academic South building.
- Important Notice ! We negotiated a highly discounted
parking fee for IDW2008 of $3 only. You can pay at the booth at the
entrance of lot A and at the entrance to the Visitor lot D.
