With a desire to expand the opportunities for researchers at Brock University, for leading researchers outside of Brock and for influential individuals associated with our industry partners, CCOVI has developed two designations: “CCOVI Fellow” and “CCOVI Professional Affiliate”. With these two new designations, recipients can now be formally associated with CCOVI and can aid us in our research and teaching programs. These individuals will be presenting important seminars and workshops in addition to sitting on advisory committees. Fellows and Professional Affiliates are also expected to carry our message forward to the community (both locally and internationally) and encourage research related to the Canadian grape and wine and associated industries.

CCOVI Fellows

Roles and Responsibilities:
CCOVI Fellows are expected to participate fully in CCOVI activities, as their professional and other duties permit. At minimum, CCOVI Fellows are expected to present a seminar or workshop for CCOVI and associated faculty and students once a year and, where appropriate, serve on student advisory committees.

Terms of Appointment:
CCOVI Fellows are appointed for a period of three years, renewable. Terms are coordinated with the Brock academic year. Individuals will be informed six months prior to the end of their term and will have the opportunity to seek reappointment. A report of the Fellow's scholarly and professional activities and contributions to CCOVI is a required component for consideration of renewal.
