Fellow and Professional Affiliate designation

Fellow and Professional Affiliate designation

To advance grape and wine research programs and increase the critical mass of researchers focused on the grape and wine sector, CCOVI has developed opportunities for research faculty at Brock University, other academic or research institutions, and individuals associated with our industry partners to be formally associated with CCOVI.

CCOVI has developed three designations for association with CCOVI: "CCOVI Researcher", “CCOVI Fellow” and “CCOVI Professional Affiliate”. The designation of "CCOVI Researcher" recognizes Brock University faculty members (tenure or tenure-track) that devote the majority of their research to the advancement of the grape and wine industry. The designations of "CCOVI Fellow" and "CCOVI Professional Affiliate" are designed to encourage research faculty from across the university, other universities and colleges, and individuals who are in the private sector to become “members” of CCOVI and to encourage research related to the Canadian grape and wine and associated industries.
