Go Global: Adventures Abroad
Do you have the travel bug? So do we! With so many amazing international opportunities – an hour long seminar might not be enough. We’ll explore programs that can get you working overseas, volunteering, teaching English and more. Maybe you’re just looking for a quick tour around Europe to celebrate graduation – we’ll talk about that too! Resumes Do’s & Don’ts – How to Stand Out
Presented by representatives of Human Resources Professional Association of Niagara (HRPAN)
The focus of this session will be how to stand out as a candidate on your resume, HR Recruiters “Pet Peeves” will be discussed regarding the resumes they receive, and the basic Do’s and Don’ts of Resumes”. Samples resumes (good and bad!) will be presented.
Paddi Riopelle (Co-facilitator)
A Certified Human Resources Professional (CHRP), with over 24 years of experience, Paddi apprenticed in Human Resources with National Defense in Ottawa and London. Prior to founding HR Off-Site, she worked in progressively senior HR positions in the public, not-for-profit and private sectors.

Join us for a presentation from the National Student Loans Service Centre to learn more about repaying your student loans, your six month grace period, and your choice of monthly interest rates. If you experience difficulty repaying your OSAP loans – there is help! We will discuss the support available to students through the new Repayment Assistance Plan (RAP).
