Mentoring opportunities

Career Services offers a variety of ways for students to engage in mentoring relationships.

Corporate Mentorship
Our corporate mentorship programs give students a chance to meet with industry professionals to network and learn more about their sector. We currently have corporate mentorship programs with RBC and TD Canada Trust.
Mentorship Plus
We have also recently launched Mentorship Plus, which provides students an opportunity to learn from those who have experience and to share their own wisdom and experience with others. The program provides the following mentorship levels:
  • First year students are mentored by more experienced third year students, to help ease their transition to university
  • Second year students are engaged in group activities and career planning to prepare them to be good mentors
  • Fourth year students are mentored by alumni or community representatives to prepare for the next steps in their career – the world of work or further academic study
