BIOGRAPHY
Janice Kulyk Keefer was born in 1952 in Toronto, Ontario. She was educated in England and France. Kulyk Keefer writes fiction and children’s literature as well as poetry, and her work has twice been nominated for a Governor General’s Award. Marrying the Sea, Kulyk Keefer's 1998 collection, won the 1999 Canadian Authors Association Award for Poetry. Her poem “Isle of Demons” won the Malahat Long Poem Prize. Kulyk Keefer currently lives in Eden Mills, and teaches at the University of Guelph.
