Special Constable Blake van Oirschot

Welcome to Campus Security Services.  In September, 2011 I began employment with Campus Security Services as a Special Constable.  Although I am not originally from the Niagara Region, I have grown to greatly enjoy the atmosphere of the area and look forward to serving the community at Brock University. 

In 2003 I successfully completed the Police Foundations program at Westervelt College in London, Ontario.  Since graduating, I have worked extensively in the field of law enforcement and security;  most recently spending four years with St Joseph’s Health Care in London, Ontario as a Security Officer.  While there, I spent the majority of my time providing security to a major mental health facility.

Since being hired with Campus Security Services, I’ve completed the Special Constable Advanced Protective Services training through J.E. Judd and Associates Inc.  This very informative course, along with other training, has prepared me to take on any new challenges that this position will offer.
