Danny Michel and Jeremy Fisher

November 20, 2014 - 7:30pm - 10:30pm

With three Juno nominations, a spot on the Polaris Prize long list and 10 albums under his belt, Danny Michel is unquestionably one of the finest and most charming songwriters ever to grace the stage. His honest and thoughtful lyrics, earnest live performances and witty stage banter have earned him a devoted global fan base.

Two-time Juno-nominee Jeremy Fisher could be considered a renaissance man, or even a modern-day folk hero. Whatever you call him, it’s clear that he is bringing back the nearly forgotten art of making a great record from start to finish, and forging a career path that is built to endure.

This unique double bill will feature these great artists performing separately and collaboratively.

“Danny Michel has reached a point where his musical vocabulary is so broad, his songwriting/arranging chops so sharp, his guitar playing so distinctive and his taste for the right sonic touch so impeccable that he can do whatever he wants and make it compelling.” – Eye Magazine

“The Hamilton-born, Ottawa-based singer-songwriter (Fisher), continues to draw rave reviews with his catchy melodies and compelling storytelling.” – London Free Press
