Why Not Theatre: A Brimful of Asha

November 5, 2014 - 7:30pm - 10:30pm

A heartwarming tale of love, family and marriage, if Ravi’s mother has any say. When Asha goes to extraordinary and unsolicited lengths to arrange a marriage, love and devotion are entertainingly put to the test. Real-life mother and son, Asha and Ravi Jain, share the stage to tell their true story of generational and cultural divides.

“Fresh, warm family drama – served with samosas – As it turns out, though, the samosas aren’t a tasty bribe but a symbol of what is to come… A Brimful of Asha proves to be a warm, fresh piece of theatre….” – The Globe and Mail
