Research is On Tap (RiOT) @ Alphie's

November 26, 2014 - 4:30pm - 6:00pm

Sounds Interesting - Do it Yourself Music!  Wednesday, November 26, 4:30 to 6 p.m. @ Alphie's.

We dwell in the world of sound. Does your research or curiosities in some 'shape or form'  reside in the world of sound?  Or, do you simply enjoy music?  In this RIOT, we invite you to explore the connection between your audio world, creative work and research interests.

It's an open-mic!

Join us for conversation and the unexpected.

Perform your piece -- then tell us how your musical expression has shaped or influenced your research/interests.

Guest artist, Mark Cunha, a vocal percussionist or beatboxer, will demonstrate his vocal artistry while collecting audio samples from the evening, Mark will create a round-up piece or audio collage

Hosted by the Faculty of Graduate Studies and the Graduate Students' Association.
