The Cairns Family Health and Bioscience Research Complex (CFHBC) will advance Canada’s science and technology infrastructure. It will house world-class work by researchers in areas like cancer, infectious diseases, biotechnology and green chemistry. It will also house an incubator for start-up businesses to capitalize on the innovative research and knowledge transfer that happens in the complex.
Thanks to federal and provincial funding totaling $71.5 million received through the Government of Canada’s Knowledge Infrastructure Program ($38 million) and the Government of Ontario ($33.5 million), we are on our way to raising the funds needed to support the construction of this complex.
