The Spoken English Promotion Project (SEPP) at Zhejiang Gongshang (business and technology) University (ZJGSU), Hangzhou, China, began in 2001 as a method to help students improve their competitive abilities in the career and professional development areas. Chinese students at ZJGSU are divided into 4-member or 6-member groups and are required to practice spoken English on given topics of mutual interest among them for 30 minutes a day outside of class. During these sessions English Conversational Teaching Assistants work with the students to help improve their English conversational skills.

For a 3 week opportunity in China Brock students will become English Conversational Teaching Assistants at Zhejiang Gongshang University, take informational classes on culture, language and business from local Chinese professors and travel to Beijing, Shanghai, Hangzhou and Xiasha!
