What Our Students Say
"I was so excited when I first came to Brock University and was really worried on how to connect with people. The first way to do this that came to mind was through extra-curricular activities and so I joined Brock University's Entrepreneurship Club. I have come a long way so fast and have gained a lot from this club, whether it was networking with professionals such as Harry Rosen or just learning how to face the challenges that occur while operating a business. I believe that the Brock's Business Program was the right decision for me and it should be for you too!"
-Baneet Gurwara, BBA student
"The BAcc program has provided me with many different opportunities throughout my years at Brock University. There are numerous different clubs available to join, including the Brock Business Ambassadors, and different competitions to compete in across Canada such as JDC Central. I was also given the opportunity to study abroad for a semester. From this I have become apart of the Business Exchange Ambassadors Team. These and many more experiences I have been exposed to throughout my university career have relied on the ample opportunities that the BAcc program offers."
-Laura Hamilton, BAcc student
"With so many great educational opportunities available at Brock, it is difficult not to get involved. Achieving the presidential position at Brock Finance & Investment Group has been an amazing experience and has provided me with a wealth of opportunities. Through managing the group’s portfolio I have been able to collaborate with many students and faculty who share similar interests. This incredible social atmosphere has allowed me to develop skills and networks that will be beneficial as I pursue a career in capital markets."
-Timothy Adams, BBA student
"Brock Business has given me the opportunity to achieve goals I had never imagined to be possible. The faculty are very supportive, and have introduced me to so many contacts that have put me on the right path in achieving my goal of one day being a successful CFA. Getting involved with the Business Students’ Association, many competitions, and a semester in Europe, have all led me to so many new friends and people who share the same ambitions and dreams that I have. With all the support of the staff and students, I am proud to say that Brock has become my home away from home."
-Erik Gunn, BBA student
"Upon arriving at Brock University, it was my goal to quickly become involved within the Goodman School of Business community while striving for academic success. Currently the marketing director for both the Accounting Students Association and Brock University Accounting Conference, I have quickly come to appreciate the plethora of opportunities of getting involved, networking events and an outstanding culture all of which Brock offers. I will never be looking back on the day I've made the decision on choosing Brock and would strongly recommend it to all prospective students!"
-Janakan Sivaneshan, BAcc student
"The Dual Degree program between Brock and EBS Business School is highly recommendable to any open-minded student wishing to receive two Bachelor degrees from renowned universities at a time. Pursuing a career in an international management consulting firm, I personally chose this program as it offers me the unique opportunity to acquire business knowledge on two continents. Apart from that, it is fun travelling the world, experiencing different cultures and making international friends."
-Ragna-Britt Taube, BBA Dual Degree student

-Sugandha Sharma, BAcc student
"The dual degree program at Brock gave me the opportunity to work with people from different countries and cultures. In today's world globalization is everywhere and a thorough understanding of different cultures is necessary. This experience will give you the skillset that is needed to function internationally."
-Patrick Hergt, BBA Dual Degree
"The Brock BBA (Honours) Program has opened up so many opportunities for me - the chance to learn from friendly and knowledgeable professors, take advantage of networking opportunities with well-established individuals, and make great friendships that I will cherish for a lifetime. The first step to having a fun and enjoyable university career is to get involved and I was fortunate to be involved with a few of the Business Clubs. This allowed me the privilege to work with talented and hardworking individuals from other clubs while developing leadership skills and building up my resume. Don't be afraid to fully utilize all the services offered by the Goodman School of Business as it opens many doors and options for your future like it did for me."
-Mandy Foo, BBA student
In a growingly competitive and globalized job market, the International Dual-Degree program at Brock University provided me with an excellent set of tools and international mind-set to be successful. The program aims to bridge theory and practice through an international platform, enabling intercultural competence and vast exposure to the global business environment. I was able to significantly develop through well-rounded experiences and achieve my long and short-term objectives, while receiving two Bachelor Degrees from renowned business schools at the same time. I would definitely recommend the International Dual-Degree program to students seeking challenges and an opportunity to develop themselves in a world-class environment!

"Coming to Brock was one of the best decisions of my life. Over the course of the past year, I have gotten opportunities to not only be a believer, but also an achiever. Because Brock is a smaller university, everyone is appreciated and rewarded for all the efforts they make.
Today, as a second year Honours Business (co-op) student and as the President of Brock University?s Entrepreneurship Club, I welcome students who are passionate and ambitious, who not only seek opportunities to learn, but also apply their knowledge, to come to Brock for a unique and worthwhile experience."
