Programs of Study

Through experiential learning, numerous research opportunities, a focus on small-group learning and unparalleled access to your professors, the Faculty of Business provides you with a unique learning experience that develops both sides of your brain.

Brock's Faculty of Business by design delivers a comprehensive undergraduate business educaiton. The Bachelor of Accounting (BAcc) and Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) programs require students to study the full range of business functions in addition to permitting considerable specialization. They are designed so that you can become a deep generalist: you gain a strong foundation in the fundamentals of business during your first two years and develop a deep knowledge of your specialization in the last two years.

Both programs include Co-op - providing you with the opportunity to apply your skills and knowledge in the workforce and to open doors to rewarding careers.

Your first two years of study provide you with a strong foundation for your future success. These courses ensure that you develop a broad understanding of the field of Business. With this strong base, you can then determine the business area in which you wish to focus.

Your last two years of study allow you to concentrate and develop important expertise in your field of choice.

In the BBA, this includes specific concentrations in: Accounting, Entrepreneurship, Finance, General Management, Human Resource Management, Information Systems, International Business, Marketing, Operations Management and Public Administration.

In the BAcc, through specialized study in accounting, you can qualify for specific professional designations to become a Chartered Accountant (CA), a Certified Management Accountant (CMA) or a Certified General Accountant (CGA).
