Dean of Graduate Studies/Dean of Business MBA Entrance Scholarship

The Goodman School of Business and the Faculty of Graduate Studies are pleased to announce the creation of six scholarships worth up to $4000 designed exclusively for graduates of each of Brock’s faculties. Eligible Fall 2014 applicants from the Faculties of Applied Health Science, Humanities, Social Science, Math and Science, Education and the Goodman School of Business will all have a chance at winning the Dean of Graduate Studies/Dean of Business MBA Entrance Scholarship.

Value

6 entrance awards of $4000; an additional $2000 if last two year average is also above 80%

Eligibility and Scholarship Criteria

  • June 2013, October 2013 or June 2014 Graduate of Brock University 
  • Applying to the Full-time MBA
  • 80% overall average (no rounding up)
  • Leadership potential, student life involvement and prior work experience will also be considered

Application Details

Only applicants who have submitted a complete MBA application will be considered. Candidates already admitted prior to July 2013 will also be considered. 

There is no separate application for individual scholarship consideration. Award recipients will be notified by email and by letter. Eligible applicants should be approved for a GMAT waiver prior to applying (See below).

Complete MBA applications should be received before June 1, 2014. The committee will make a decision on the award winners on Tuesday, June 17, 2014. No late applications will be accepted. 

One award will be awarded to a graduate of each of the six faculties:

  • Faculty of Applied Health Science
  • Faculty of Humanities
  • Faculty of Social Science
  • Faculty of Math and Science
  • Faculty of Education
  • Goodman School of Business

GMAT Waiver

Applicants with an 80% overall Brock University average will be considered for this scholarship in conjunction with a GMAT waiver. Pre-approval for the GMAT waiver is recommended. Please contact us using the Graduate Portal  to request your waiver.
